Our area is pretty spread out and I've had the same problem, only I'm the one that they sometimes have a hard time getting ahold of. Between work, family and everything else, my visiting teachers sometimes get left out. I do sincerely appreciate it when they keep trying. I know they've just dropped off something or mailed something when they couldn't get in touch with me, but always followed up with a call as well.
