We are on our second Saturday of sales.  J's met his $ goal and has completed sales to 25 people for the Fill It Up.  He still has some popcorn on hand to try to sell.  6 caramel corn tins and 4 boxes of microwave popcorn.  We've exhausted the neighborhood and our family / friends.  I'm hoping he can unload the last few things at the booth sale.  This year the bulk of his sales are items that have to be ordered, so we will be busy when delivery rolls around.

We don't have any popcorn in hand to try and sell.  And, we're not doing so well otherwise.  A few of my co-workers and my parent's have bought.  It's hard selling in our neighborhood because many of our neighbors are an older generation who won't buy and we have other scouts/scout leaders in our neighborhood, lol.  I refuse to take him to neighborhoods or houses we don't know.  DH tried to sell at his workplace and nothing!  Not to mention, it's so darn expensive!  I'm sorry, but we won't be meeting the $200 goal.

I agree about the items being way too expensive.  It's hard to spend $10.00 for a caramel corn tin when Crunch n Munch is $1.00 at Walmart (actually, I think it is 88 cents).  I think the BS caramel corn is better, but not THAT much better.  sigh.  I really wish they had a better priced item.  Something in the $5.00 range would be great.  Just a simple can of nuts or a trail mix.

We don't go outside of our neighborhood either.  J really lucked out that my sister helped so much.  She made 7 sales for him.

I'm not looking forward to having two boys in scouts.
