Wow, can you believe it's back to school time already? Our district starts tomorrow. My mother was a teacher for almost 30 years and retired last year, and she had to go all the way to Spain to take her mind off the fact that she isn't there for this new year. : )
Anyway... So tell us who you and your OYO are, whatever you are comfortable sharing. And, tell us your favorite "back to school" memory.
I'm Emily, 31, from Massachusetts. My DD Galete is just over 26 mos and "Baby Bean" is 25 wks in utero. Already trying to kick its way out, too. My favorite memory is sophomore year of college. DH and I had been hallmates freshman year but just friends. Sophomore year he was the first former hallmate I saw on campus (I had been there for a week working on orientation with the new freshmen but hadn't seen any old friends yet). I, uh, tackled him, for lack of a better term, and within 2 weeks we were dating. And the rest, as they say... 12 years later, he still likes to tell people that we started dating after I tackled him.
