Hi everyone!  Another new month, can you believe it?  Tell us a little about yourself, your OYO, and whatever else you want to share.  Our question of the month is...  Do you celebrate Halloween, and if so, what will your OYO be this year?

I'm Emily, 31, SAHM.  My DD is Galete, a little over 27 months, and "Bean" is due in 10 weeks.  We live in New England and it's that perfect time of year -- the trees are getting really beautiful, the days are mild and the nights are cool.

I think we may do some trick or treating this year, but only two or three houses.  I wouldn't bother but my neighbor really wants to take Galete out!  She adores kids but her boys are 4 and 6 and she's past the age of having more, so she really dotes on the babies and toddlers on our street, LOL.  Galete will be a dragon.

Emily,

A dragon sounds really cute! What a good idea.

My name is Jess (24), and I am SAHM to Griffin (13 months.) I live in Pennsylvania. My DH and I just got a new house. It has 6 bedrooms, we have so much room--we are totally not used to! We used to live in a 2 bedroom apartment. It has become quite chilly here. Fall has definitely arrived!

We are taking Griffin to the Pumpkin Patch tomorrow. Last year, he was almost 2 months old (around this time,) so he had no clue what was going on. I think this year will be very fun for him! He will be going trick-or-treating to family and friend's houses, only. My Uncle used to take me when I was little, so he is taking Griffin to carry on the tradition. DH & I will of course, tag along. We are having a Halloween party at our new place this year, since we most certainly have enough room. I am looking forward to that!

Griffin is going to be Yoda for Halloween! Last year, he was a Chili Pepper.

Hello Stephanie!

I know what you mean. I cannot believe that my little guy is already 13 months. Oh, how the time flies! That's a plus-- no more needles until 4! I can't wait until we reach that point, Haha! That is so interesting that you live in Australia! How far away are you from the Australia Zoo? Our dream is to visit there, one day. We are big Steve Irwin fans. It is so sad to think that he is gone, but his spirit will live forever through the Zoo!

Do you mind me asking what is wrong/going on with your eye? I'm sorry to hear that your little girl has been/is still sick. It is not fun for us Mama's to see our babies sick. When Griff is sick, I just wish I could take it all away from him, and be sick for him! Here's to hoping that Elody does not have to go back to the hospital again... I think 3 times is more than enough!

Anyway, very nice to meet you!

It was such a big milestone for us to get past 18mth needles!! Every time Elody has been fine but im an absolute mess!!! The nurses have to leave me in their room to get myself together before we go home lol and then i usually sit in the car and cry :( Its horrible (N) but at least she kind of likes it (LMAO) she likes to watch them prepare and stick it in, she just curious i suppose lol i went with my nephew once and he was such a whimp (understandable!!) but he was able to say "Mummy, no please" and i think that was the worst thing ever!! UGH

In August i had a corneal transplant so have been to my ophthalmologist about a billion times to check for rejection. Yeah its not fun at all :( and shes already lost 4% of her body weight - which doesnt sound like a lot but shes only 10kgs now (22lbs) and is already in the 25th percentile *stress* im sure she will get better now :)
