One Year Olds

Griffin is usually out between 9 and 10 p.m. Sometimes, if we have company a little later, he'll fight it and stay up a little longer, but typically it's between 9-10. And if he played too hard or had a long day, he'll go to sleep at 8 or 8:30.

He wakes up in the morning between 7-8:45 a.m., depending. He is a really good sleeper, and has been since he was about 5 months old. We cannot complain, one bit!

What time does your OYO go to bed and wake up?

 

  

   

Wow you're both lucky that your OYOs sleep that late!

Madison goes to bed at 8:30-9pm and wakes up between 7am-8am. She's a good sleep so I can't complain, just wish she would sleep later. We've tried the whole stay up later so she'll sleep later thing and it only made her get up earlier! She does take a good 2 hours nap in the afternoon though.

You all suck.  : p  Just kidding.  Galete goes to bed at 7 and wakes up around 6:30, and takes a 45 to 60 minute nap.  In the past we've messed around with really early bedtimes, like 6, and she does sleep to the same time, so I know she'd probably feel better during the day if she went to sleep earlier.  But with DH's work schedule he barely sees her as it is, so we're doing the best we can.  He'd like to have her go to sleep at 8 but when she has in the past she tends to wake up between 4:30 and 5:30 and takes a 30 minute nap, so I can't see that happening on a regular basis.  But she talked in full sentences before 2 years old and asks for vegetables or fruit at every meal, often refusing to eat the grains or protein until she gets them, so you can't have everything.

Anyway, I'm praying #2 is a sleeper, but if (s)he isn't, at least I know I survived it once.  Still, I figure I'm due for a break in the sleep department...
