We tried, but Galete just didn't show enough interest to make it worth it. One method that I've heard tends to work with OYOs is timed trips. Basically, just take her to the potty every 20 minutes (to start with) and let her sit for a bit, maybe with a story or songs. Gradually stretch it out to longer intervals. Or you can watch her when she's nude and in theory she should show cues that she's about to go. This is how people PT infants, watch for the cues and then get a potty to her or her to a potty ASAP, letting her know verbally what you're doing and why. The idea is that they connect the experience with the feeling and eventually go by themselves. There is a book out called "Early Start Potty Training" that I read when Galete was little, but warning, it talks a lot about how if you don't train in infancy, basically you've screwed up your chances entirely and your child will have all sorts of delays and issues. Gotta take it all with a grain of salt. : )
There is also a PT board here on iV that may have better suggestions! http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-pspotty
