Have fun at the Halloween parade, Erin!

We carved our pumpkin last night (I'll get pics up on FB eventually). It was pouring rain so we did it on the porch as quickly as possible! It poured rain all day yesterday and was very windy; at times it sounded like someone was actually pounding on the windows it was so windy! Hopefully the weather won't be like that tonight because tonight we go trick or treating! We'll stop by my in-laws house first, go around their neighborhood a bit, then head to the next town over to go around my mom's neighborhood and end up at her house. She's making chili and brownies for us. Travis likes to hand out candy at her house once we get there. :-)

Today Travis has his class party at school. He was very loaded down this morning with his costume, bag of candy to pass out at the party and at band practice, and his bag of canned goods for the food drive. Today is the last day and his class is trying to bring in the most cans so they can win an extra recess. :-)

We didn't even carve this year, Matt never wants to. So I'm jealous of you there but not of the weather. ;)

Sounds like Travis had a good haul with him today! I'm bringing Matt's cupcakes and goodies before we go to the parade. No one in his class ever gives but Matt, which I find odd, lol, but ah well. I always make one for Matt and send that in as well. :)

That is a little odd. It has slowed down now that Travis in 5th grade but oh my gosh you wouldn't believe the amount of stuff he used to bring home from parties at school! It was insane!

I stayed at home again today and now I have developed a cold!  Watched a couple of movies on TV included a Turkish one - Turkish movies (of the 1970s) are very like Indian movies but without the singing and dancing - lots of stories of lost fathers/sons/wives.   They mostly end tragically in reconciliation then sudden death.

It has rained most of the day so the roads are very wet.  Victoria had her Brownie Halloween party which she enjoyed. Tomorrow she has orchestra which she hasn't been to for ages and then dance and after that we are going to a children's classical music concert with a monsters and Hallowe'en theme.
