What has your child dressed up as on past Halloweens?
Travis has been (in order): a peapod, Superman, a doctor, a fireman, a pirate, Harry Potter, Darth Vader, a Clone Trooper, a Red Wings hockey player, Slash from Guns n Roses, and this year he is the scary ghost dude from the Scream movies.
What is your favorite costume your child has worn?
He was an awfully cute Harry Potter! He had a wand that made all kinds of "magical" noises and when we were trick or treating after the people gave him candy he would point the wand at them and push the button like he was casting a spell, which everyone thought was very cute. He was in Kindergarten that year. :-)
I also really liked his Slash costume from last year.
Do you remember a favorite costume you wore as a child?
My mom used to make my costumes when I was little. One year she made me a witch costume; the hat was black with silver glitter and it had orange yarn "hair" attached to it. I loved that thing! Probably my favorite though was the Holly Hobby costume she made me...a long patchwork dress with apron and a bonnet. I wore that thing for dress-up until I was busting out of it!
