It's an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day here. Yesterday was like this too, and my route while I was out and about took me along the river...it looked so pretty. In one spot by a little lagoon there must have been 50 Canada geese.
Last night did not end on a good note, as Travis was having some trouble with his math homework and gave me some MAJOR attitude. I'm not tolerating that kind of disrespect so we had a big blow-up. Hopefully we won't have a repeat of that any time soon! He seems to be struggling with math a bit this year and I'm not really sure why. He has several times said that the teacher doesn't explain things in class, then just gives them homework and he doesn't know what's going on. I find that a little hard to believe. I am wondering if Travis is paying attention in class, and I think I will have to email the teacher to get his take on things.
On a happier note, he found out that he will have the part of a soldier in the Christmas chorus program. He's very pleased. :-)
No obligations this evening, yay! I need to clean the house today and then I'm making a pot of loaded potato soup for dinner.
