Found out my new little nephew is in the NICU due to some breathing problems. Basically because she pushed him out in like 10 minutes he didn't get the fluid squeezed out of his lungs so he is breathing really fast. They have him on IV antibiotics, oxygen through his nose, and a feeding tube (because if he can't breathe he can't eat). The doctor's don't expect this to be a long-term issue, but it looks like he might not get to go home with his mom on Saturday when she's released. This is a huge bummer, so any prayers and positive thoughts you can spare for little Edison and his parents would be appreciated!

Travis has chorus this morning and band practice after school. Hoping to just relax tonight. Have a great weekend!

I hope he recovers quickly, prayers coming his way. Lots to pray for today. :(

Hello all, I'm so happy it's Friday. Just happy for a new day but saddened by the Ft. Hood shooting. I had weird dreams last night I'm sure it was because I was watching the news up until I went to sleep.

Today we have parent teacher conferences. Then I'm heading to our Eagle Pass store to work on computers. Then my Girl Scout troop is visiting a nursing home, so we have a busy day! I'll be happy to relax tonight and watch the shows I recorded last night due to a hockey game. :)

I agree - TGIF!!  We've got a busy weekend but it will be fun.  My parents are coming over tomorrow afternoon so they can baby-sit Erin while DH and I go out for our anniversary.  It will be nice to get out just the two of us!  We don't do it real often so it's always fun.  On Sunday, the businesses in our small town are having their holiday open houses so my mom and I will go into town for lunch and to shop a bit.  It's always so fun because everyone decorates and serves cookies and cider - so festive!  Erin will stay home with Grandpa and Daddy.  :O)  She'll love bossing the two of them around for the afternoon!
