Hello everyone, I hope you are all sleeping in this fine Saturday morning....and those in a different part of the world are having a wonderful Saturday evening! ;-)

So Paige had a friend sleep over last night. I think they were asleep by 11, not really sure. lol I know Paige came into my room at 0630 to ask if she could turn on the TV! UGH! I'm tired, more coffee please.

Yesterday we went to visit a nursing home and sing songs to them. The girls did great and were wonderful with the residents there. Of course I had one girl turn on the drama, she got all sad and started crying because she missed her Great Grandpa, funny thing is she never even met her Great Grandpa! She loves attention, that's what her Mom said anyway. lol

Today we have a Juliette Low birthday celebration from 1-2:30 and then I'm free from Girl Scouts for the weekend! Hockey game tonight, football and Nascar tomorrow life is good. :)

Hope you all have a great weekend.

I ended up napping for 3-1/2 hours yesterday afternoon...wasn't feeling too hot, had a bad stomach/back ache combo. I think it was due to AF starting. So of course I was up super late last night, last time I looked at the clock was around 1:00 am. Up before 7:00 this morning because Travis is sick. He has thrown up several times already. He was totally fine last night! He doesn't have a fever, headache, body aches or anything else...just nausea and throwing up. He is very pale and puny looking, though. So no hockey game for him this morning, bummer. :-(

Sooo, we'll be hanging out at home and taking it easy today. Hopefully it's just a short-lived thing and he'll be better tomorrow. I'm going to go get my hair cut later this afternoon, then possibly come home and color away the grays. Our undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes play at 11:00, guess we'll be home to watch the game since we have to miss hockey. Dh is in a pissy mood this morning, ugh. Sick boy and grouchy dh = long day for Amy.

I hope you are all feeling better soon, no fun being sick especially on a Saturday!

There's a Wings game on tonight, 6pm start for me in Central time. :) I'll be glued to the TV that's for sure! ;0)

Victoria was supposed to be helping at a Brownie/church Fair but had a really high temperature when she came home from school on Friday so didn't go.  She also missed dance and stayed in all day.  I was out at a national conference for Parent Council members which this year was held locally.  It was interesting - about how parents and schools can work together.  Hearing about some other schools, I realise how good Victoria's school is.

In the evening, as Victoria was feeling bettter we all went out to see the violinist Nicola Benedetti playing with the orchestra.  Victoria's violin teacher had organised tickets for her pupils - and we were right in the middle of the front row! Not so good for seeing all the orchestra but great for seeing NB.  Afterwards she came onto the stage and had a "conversation" and answered questions. (Under 16s go free to see this particular orchestra which is great!)

Tomorrow we have nothing planned.
