Pregnant and Nursing

He came on his edd, 8 days ago :o). His name is Alexander and he was 8lbs 2oz, 21" long.

He is an AWESOME nurser. Not one bloody or cracked nipple! He gets frustrated when I get engorged because he has a hard time latching, but when he does get it, its a perfect latch. He is very "attached". I dont mind of course, but it makes it hard to get anything done. lol. Of course my 2 year old is in milk bliss so its been a bit crazy trying to balance the nursing. Tandem is hard because she will NOT let the baby come even an inch away from her, and I cant nurse with her on the side because she about rips my nipple off. lol. Time will fix this I'm sure. Its all bareable except bedtime.. that is the challange.

Anyhow, I wouldnt have done anything differently in the way of nursing while pregnant... It was totally worth it!!

I am so happy for you. Just reading your post is getting me so excited for my next one. I think my daughter will be very attached to the new baby when it comes. Whenever we are in a resturant or store when there is a baby she will keep dragging me back to the baby. I have to hold her back because she wants to go right up to the baby and start touching and holding it. You will never know how some parents might react and I never know how gentle she will be. She doen't know her own strength yet, but she is getting better with the cats. LOL

Anyway, congratulations once again and keep up the good work. LOL.
