I just started checking my ketones this week. Kind of stupid question...I get up at like 3 am to use the bathroom then go again at 6-7 am. Which one should I check my ketones on?
I don't think it's a stupid question at all! I never had to check my ketones, so I don't know the answer. Hopefully someone else here will be able to help. You could also call your doctor for clarification.
I check my ketones with my fasting glucose around 7am. 6-7 am should be about right, especially if you have a snack before bedtime. Also you can check them during the day if you feel you are having symptoms or get a high reading.
