I don't post much, but I do read everyday, so forgive me for just popping in. However, I was curious if you've ever done edit swaps. I'm on a private message board where a few of us are interested in photography and one gal is already doing it for money. Sometimes we post one of our SOOC shots (with a watermark added) to see what everyone else sees as the final product. Even with just the three of us, it is amazing the differences you get. Just curious if anyone else would find this fun?
We used to do this! I posted it weekly, had a PB folder for the photog of the week's SOOC shot and people would play, post and tell us what they did. But only after a few weeks, it died down and nobody was really participating anymore so I stopped posting it. I had a sign up sheet and everything with everyone's dates ahead of time so they knew when it was their turn. It was fun tho! :O) It's still here on the board in the past pages somewhere!
I think that would be a fun idea. Someone post a picture and everyone see what they come up with. It would give us idea's and different prospects on a single picture. I'd be up for that...as long as I can d/l the picture (lol-since I seem to be having some issue's with that lately).
Hmm, well, then, maybe we can do something on a more informal level? It seems that the weekly posts seem to slow down after awhile, but maybe people can post a random picture whenever they feel like it. I mean, I guess that already happens when people ask for help. I dunno.
