We do eat fruits and vegetables everyday. Running a daycare helps me stay on track with that.
Vegetables- Broccoli, carrots, corn, peas, cauliflower, zucchini, red and green bell peppers, lots of salads. My kids like lots of vegetables.
Shawn and Cambria like to eat raw red bell peppers. Cambria likes carrots only raw not cooked. They both love salads and broccoli.
Fruits- bananas, apples, oranges, pears, plums and sometimes peaches. Shawn loves melons but Cambria does not. They both love all kinds of berries.Neither one of them likes fresh or canned pineapple.
I serve a fruit and vegetable with lunch and dinner. Sometimes with lunch I do not eat them. Mostly because I am not sitting down with them. With dinners, we all sit down together and everybody eats them. I like almost all fruits and vegetables except tomatoes. Doug is a little more picky but has gotten much better in the years that we have been married.
I grew up always having vegetables with every dinner and seasonal fruit was kept in the house to snack on when-ever but not offered with meals
