Feb. Leap Year Luv Bugs '04

I've started my Christmas shopping...it is just me or have the prices of toys really increased this year!!  Everything the girls want is at least $30!!  I'm trying to make sure they have a nice pile on Christmas morning, but at those prices, I am struggling not to overspend!

What's on your kids' wish lists this year?  Anything reasonably priced??

I've GOT to get started on my Christmas shopping if my goal is to be done before baby arrives, which is in 3 weeks & 2 days!!

I haven't priced many things but I do have a list started for Katie. Here's what I have on my list (approved by her, of course):

• Polly Pocket Pool Set (semi-reasonable)
• Hannah Montana clock for her room (haven't priced)
• Pink Guitar (a real one...) (from abc distributing for $20)
• Ariel perfume (very reasonable, like $6, from the abc distributing catalog)
• Alex Russo Barbie (semi-reasonable)
• Set of like 10 pairs of shoes, from Target, that fit the American Girl dolls (don't remember the price)

I'll probably look for some clothes or something for her too.

Michelle....I love ya, but I am gonna laugh....bawahahahahaha

Don't I wish Kiera and Zach would pick just one thing that was $30, heck $50. I think it's the ole'...as thay get older the stuff just gets more expensive. I have bought Kiera two things and combined have spent $140....:) She also wants a new cell phone.......Verizon's version of the iTouch. Zach wants a new laptop.

Maddi and Kaci want everything they see, so I have no clue what they will end up with, but I bet when I have lunch with you most of the shipping will have just  been done..:)

You know.....economist are predicting inflation, so maybe we are going to see it ramp up for our holiday shopping........lovely?

Well, Cailyn doesn't have an American Girl doll and when the catalog came the other day in the mail, she informed me that she wants just about everything in it.  I told her go through it and show me what she likes best.  We sat down in the chair together and narrowed it down to EVERYTHING!  sigh...

She's also informed us that she wants a 4-wheeler.  We have a golf cart that she drives around quite a bit (not alone -- one of us is sitting next to her at all times), but she found out her cousin (and best buddy) has his own 4-wheeler and she told me she'd like Santa to bring her one.  However, if he can't do it for Christmas than she's willing to wait for her b-day.

This kid is going to put me in the poorhouse ;)

  

 

  

Chrisie, Katie has the Kit AG doll & one of the 'Just Like Me' dolls that looks like her. My mom has bought Katie all the AG movies (except we already have Kit Kittredge) when they were on sale for $5 each, as well as a couple of outfits that Katie's picked out. My sister will be getting Katie the doll-sized backpack & my aunt will get her the doll-sized lunch box.
