Do you remember being 4 almost 5? How well do you remember it and what specific memories do you have from that age?

What do you think Peanut will remember about this age when he/she is YOUR age?

I remember the day I got to "practise" going to kindergarten, so I must have been 4. It was a day when all of the next-years' class could come and spend a half-day in the room with the kids who were one year ahead. I was REALLY excited to go to school.

And I remember going to Sunday school with my neighbours and a little boy there being mean to me while we were making something from pipe cleaners. I guess I must have pouted at him with my hands on my hips, because I'll never forget the humiliation of having him mockingly do it right back at me. :(

I don't really remember much, snipets really.  I can remember being in Nursery school, it was called "Let's Explore".  My teacher (I can't remember her name) had hair almost down to the floor, it was brown and straight and mine was blond and curly and I remember thinking "I want hair like her's when I grow up". 

I also remember the day that I went in for Kindergarten orientation.  We got to ride the bus (around the parking lot) and we got to meet our teacher.  My Kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Grant.  She looked just like Mrs. Garrett from Facts of Life.
