Hello Everyone,

We had an uneventful weekend. DH had some work to do, so we didn't go anywhere. We have a BBQ somewhere in the basement, still not assemled (blush), so we didn't BBQ.

School is going good. We are having some issues with Isabelle's bus stop. I will talk about that more under the LC heading as I need some help/advice with how to deal with the bus company. Isabelle has a lot more homework at her new school (magnet school) then she did at her regular town public school. More on that as well under LC heading as I would like to see if anyone else feels the same way about their LC increasing homework load.

My FIL is having a quadruple bypass surgery tomorrow, possibly. Possibly, and not for sure, since he lives in Canada and the hospital told him that if something more important comes up then they will have to reschedule him. He will find out tomorrow at 9am, as that is when his surgery supposed to begin. Fun, eh?

Good morning!

I think school is going pretty well.  Activities have been light because soccer has been rained out almost every week and Robin starts piano next week.  It's been nice to have a bit of a phase-in.  The kids are still anxious to get home and play outside with their friends.  That's basically what they want to do these days.

Not too much coming up.  I am playing host for two club event in Sept/Oct - Book Club and craft N chat.  Unfortunately they both correspond to DH being out of town, so I think I'm going to have to get a sitter to put the kids to bed.  Otherwise, mostly just the weekly stuff on the calendar.

School is going well for both kids. I had an aggrivating weekend. I found out the hard way that the dealer that I used to bring my car to for service, once again screwed us. DH has left two messages for the service manager this morning and he hasn't called back yet. My facebook status had all the info.

Still getting settled. The box mountain is dwindling, so that is good. I am still behind on laundry since only the hot water worked, and I didn't want to waste that much gas, or be so hard on the clothes. So, Bill replaced the spigot and we are good to go.

My kids are hating brown bagging it. LOL. They are all enjoying school though. I need to go give the schools a check so they can buy lunch. Apparently this school district has a contract with KFC/Pizza HUt, adn my kids are missing out! I am so neglectful.

Lots going on with Bill's work, and it is all good. WE were worried for a while. BIll's boss just hired me to. I won't make anywhere near what BIll does, but it is a decent second income.

Off to get  the girls ready for school.
