Parenting Two or More Kids

Hi all, my name is Lisa I am 29 years old and have two beautiful boys, 3 & 1  and am expecting #3 in June.  We have a hard time getting pregnant, so all three were very planned, and we are super excited for another little one.  Having said that, I am 8 weeks pregnant and the hormones are raging and I am starting the "panic".  I recognize it from the last two pregnancies, but I thought maybe this time I could reach out and get some reassurance from others in my situation?  What I mean by "the panic" is now that we are finally pregnant, it is sinking in that I will have another little one to care for, and am I up for (good enough for) the challenge?  The answer is definitely yes because there is no other option, but I was just wondering how hard is having three young children?  Am I in for a roller coaster ride till they are in school? Any input, reassurances, anything would be greatly appreciated.  Look forward to getting to know all of you, and chatting a bit about parenting.

Hi Lisa and WELCOME!  Congrats on your new baby!  How exciting!

You sure are going through the Pregnancy Panic!  You will be a fabulous mother!  You have been blessed with another child to love and nurish.  The rest will come with time!  You will get into a rhythm so fast that you won't remember life before three kids! 

My kids came about a little differently than your situation.  My DH and I quickly got into a routine and things have gone fairly smooth since.  We welcomed our 6th child when our youngest was 7.  It was strange going back to diapers, baby food, not sleeping through the night.... I could keep going!  I can't imagine what my life would be like without all of my kids!

I will say, you will be on that roller coaster for the rest of your life!  There will always be something to deal with!  We will be here for you through all the ups and downs!  I can't wait to get to know you better!
