We celebrate, although I have banned talk of it until October. DD loooooooves Halloween. At her age, she's obsessed with the death/skeleton/scary elements of it, and that makes me uncomfortable given the recent loss of our baby.
It sounds horrid, but one of the only ultrasound pictures I have of my son was given to me the day I found out he had died, but it was before I knew he had died...I asked the tech to print it, because it was of his face...she kind of said...uhmmm...sure...(she already knew he was dead, she was just about to leave to get the doctor to tell me)...and now that I look at it, it's like a skeletal mask, and it makes me upset. So by extension, all the skeleton decor for Halloween also makes me upset :(
