As the mom of two preemies, one of which had IVH bleeds at birth, I can definitely tell you that you are choosing the best of your two options. My first preemie was born at 34 weeks and had no real problems other than being a little smaller than a full term baby, but did really well and only stayed in the hospital long enough for them to make sure she was gaining weight and eating well. My second preemie came unexpectedly at 32 weeks and had IVH bleeds at birth. He is now 8 yrs old and is diagnosed with Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy. The shots you recieved for your baby's lungs work very well and at the number of weeks your baby will be delivered I would expect that any issues will be minimal and well prepared for by the hospital staff.
Congrats on your new little one and the best of luck....
