There isn't proof either way for the existance of a god/dess, and being okay with that.  Perhaps being a little more open to the potential since you're not an athiest.

For me, agnosticism is being unable to answer 'yes' or 'no' to the question 'Do you believe in God'. There is insufficient evidence on either side, so I sit on the fence. It's surprisingly comfortable ;o)

ETA: In my personal version of agnosticism, being agnostic re God's existence doesn't mean being agnostic about the existence of an afterlife or spiritual plane, both of which I firmly believe in.
