How are we all doing? When do your classes begin?
I start classes in mid-August and have already started my reading for a couple classes...primarily because I will be about 7mos pg when I start back and am a little nervous about my performance (or ability to perform well) this fall, especially considering the absent-minded/forgetfulness pg factor. At least I haven't burned the house down yet!! (I almost did...I left the gas range on warming up lunch while I went to the co-op!!!!) For the BTDTs, does this pg symptom dissipate or become worse in the third trimester? Its so not like me and is driving me nuts!

I wish I could get started on the reading for my fall classes, but I am so busy with summer classes I don't even have time to think about the fall. One of my fall classes is Microbiology which I heard is a killer. I'm almost finished with summer one and will start summer two the end of next week. A friend of mine that is also going to school took the summer off and I am really jealous. It is a good think I am getting these two classes out of the way though. If I didn't take them now, I would have to next summer or else take an extra semester to finish school, yuck.

Sorry about your prego brain. How on earth are you going to handle a new baby and school? I've known women that did it, but I know I couldn't have. I wasn't able to leave the house for like two weeks after my son was born. I was tired, but besides that he needed so much constant care that taking the show on the road seemed impossible. My son was a preemie though with feeding issues. I have a SIL that was in highschool when she had her first and she jumped right back into school without a problem. Her son was like eight and a half pounds at birth, and an expert at nursing. What a lucky girl.

Good luck with your summer sessions!! This is my first summer off and home. I understand how crazy summer school can be. I was away from DH for the past two summers (May-Aug) studying and working abroad:( I'm due toward the end of Nov (before finals) so, hopefully once I can figure out how to finish out the semester I'll have a few weeks off for winter break to try to settle into parenthood:)

Micro is tough, but doable!! (I took it about 8yrs ago) I hope the rest of your fall load isn't too intense. It will definately take a nice chunk out of your study time.
