ok-this is a strange and uncomfortable question to ask, but I am wondering if anyone here has had their twins do exploring or "touching" of each other. We just ran across this with our two boys who are 5 1/2 and I know kids at this age are curious and I have read about this being "common" but I am just wondering from moms of twins, how they deal with this and if its more common with twins??
I am the mother of 6 yr old twin boys and I am having the same issue at our house. We have had several talks with them about this without wanting to make them feel "bad" about what they are doing and just reinforced the message that no one but themselves should be touching private parts of our body. My opinion is that it is more of an issue with twins because they always have someone there to compare body parts with, who is the same age and in my case the same sex.
