Single Moms

My name is Erin. I didn't become single by choice, but I have chosen to stay single and pursue what it is that I want out of my life and that includes a family.

I have an adopted 7mo girl, Bella who is my entire world. I've struggled being a single mom, but wouldn't trade a second of it. I knew that I wanted more than one child, and want them close in age so I pursued IVF with donor sperm. I am now 6 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins. I was prepared for 2 kids under 2 by myself, but 3?!? I'd be crazy if I didn't admit to being scared, but at the same time I'm excited and blessed.

Does anyone have any advice on how to single parent 3 kids under 2yo?

Wow, you will have your hands full, won't you? I knew a woman on another board who was a SMC of a 2 year old, and then did IVF after a number of unsuccessful IUIs with DS and got pg with twin boys. She was only planning on one, and was fairly freaked out at first. The babes are around a year old now, and she's doing just great! Busy, but great.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's bound to be tough at first, but I'm sure you'll get into a routine, and it will be very worth it. I don't have any more specific advice, but I know you'll be fine.
