What are your kiddos being for Halloween?

Gabe is going to be Mario and he wants Zane to be a mushroom. He thinks his cousins should be the Princess, Bowser, and Luigi. I have to keep reminding him that's not what they are going to be. He is so obsessed with Mario Brothers....

My mom took the boys and found patterns for them for Halloween costumes.  Jesse is going to be a clown.  We found some flannel fabric that has dogs all over it for the main part of the costume.  Now I am hoping that the cooler weather sticks around here . . . The dog part is so him - he is obsessed with dogs - despite being somewhat afraid of them.

Garrett is going to be a frontier man and Leanna will be little red riding hood.  My mom is (thankfully!) making thier costumes for us.

My mom is making Gabe's too! We found a Mario costume...but it was so cheap looking...the only thing we did buy was a Mario hat. Now, I am just hoping she can get her sewing machine to work....the tension won't hold on it. As far as Zane...we have to make his too...but still haven't figured out a way.

We figured this out early this year. Sometime back in August. Since Stephanie isn't into anything yet I get to choose what she is. She is going to be Cinderella this year. I figure she knows the princesses from her pull ups and backpack but doesn't know the movies. Emily is going to be Minnie Mouse. My mom is making both. Thankfully!! She loves doing it and they are so much better than if I would have bought them somewhere. Now I have to decide if Stephanie should wear her costume to school the day before I am taking them for their Halloween pictures. If it was a couple days I could get it clean if anything happened but the day before. Makes me nervous. I hope she wears it, for the picture and for Halloween. You just never know.

Jack is going as Elmo. I found one of those pull over your head costumes awhile ago and he stinking loves it! We have already gotten to go to a trick or treat event and he attempts saying Trick or treat and Happy Halloween, both badly but adorable!

My big boys are jaded and I am not sure if they are dressing up this year or not.
