It's Official. Katie's surgery has been postponed until a skin infection clears up (boil on her bottom) and they can squeeze her in to another slot. School starts early August so they want her out of the cast by then. The doctor did say the surgery itself won't take long- just putting on the body cast would take a while. The second time she got a body cast due to her breaking her leg from being immobile for so long, she woke up while they were still doing it so held the bandage for the doctor while he wrapped her. LOL Plus the doctor put a body cast on her Baby Kate stuffed animal (from the Arthur series). Baby Kate has been in almost as many surgeries as Katie has. This will be Katie's 13th.
