Hi there! This is my very first message with iVillage. I saw that you are the cl for solid foods, so I thought I would start here. My question isn't about your message on fruit puffs, so forgive me if this is confusing. :-)
I have a 6 month old daughter named Molly. We just started solids this week, yippee!! I'm starting with cereal and carrots, and I use formula (five, 8 oz. bottles a day). I'm really struggling with finding a good schedule for our day. I feel like, in order to feed her 3 meals and all of her bottles, I'm feeding her ALL day. What happened to playtime!? :-)
Do you have any suggestions of a typical day or how I can incorporate the new solids as meals along with her bottles? Our bottle routine before solids went like this, roughly: Wake up at 7am, bottle then. Nap at 8:30, bottle at 10ish. Nap at 11:30, bottle at 1ish. Nap at 3, bottle at 4ish and night bottle at 6ish. Bed at 7pm. So where can I add in her solids and not have her so full she spits up all day?!
Sorry this got a bit long. Hope it makes sense.
Please help!
Thanks so much.

How old does your child need to be or what abilities does he need to possess to start the puffs?
Thanks!
Tammy
