DYK that adding a little green in your life can go a long way? I don't know about you but I always felt that if I took one step towards becoming more conscience about the way we live and treat the Earth, I always had to go 'whole hog' and do everything 'green.' So, I've been checking out this new part of iVillage:  iGO GREEN and have been learning little things I can do to make my world a little better.

And! We could win a new car! Go check it out today! and tomorrow and the day after that and the day after that. ;) No, second thought, give it up. I'm going to win that car! LOL

It isn't always easy to be green. But I just found a way to add a little more green to my life and the life of my family. It's in the daycare for my daughter.

We can work tirelessly teaching our children ways to care for the environment and live a lifestyle that protects the earth. But it can all easily be wasted when they go off to school or daycare where our green values are not reinforced or supported.

I am so happy to say that I found a daycare that is green. They have a recycle bin out at the front of the school, recycle bins are in every classroom, they recycle everything! and share the outdoors with kids so that they learn to love nature.

Raintree Learning Community is it's name.
Does anyone else know of other green daycares in st. louis? I know that lots of schools have recycle bins out front, but does anyone know of daycares that have whole programs like this one?
