Oh! Thank you all. Been looking for this for a long time. DS is 29 months, also a very avid nurser and DD is 7 months. At first DS nursed more than DD and still if we have a wierd day (apart from each other for a long time, busy etc.)then it seems like that night or the next day are nursing fests! Distraction works for DS and sometimes so does counting to 10!
Maybe we can all vent here, because I can't do it at home either. DH is all about weaning, mostly when he is around his family, but nonetheless, you need the support of someone. And venting does seem to help sometimes.
I can say for sure that after the newness of the new baby goes away my DS has calmed down on nursing as much if not more than DD. Things will change over time. And I know if I let him on my lap with open arms and an open heart and mind, he asks less nurses for a shorter period of time and I am generally happier about it too!
