My 4 month old son has a hard white dot on his lower left gum. He doesn't have any teeth yet, but is drooling and biting like crazy. It feels like a tooth and we thought it was a tooth, until someone told me that her son had a calcium deposit on his gum that was in the exact same place as my son. She said there is nothing you can do for it, just wait it out and it will fall out on it's own.

Anyone ever heard of this? I can't find any info on it on the web or any baby books!
