TTC and Breastfeeding

I'm new with questions too!

I had some spotting yesterday and the day before which were 7 and 8 DPO.  I'm due to get AF in about a week, and have had BFNs everyday (I know it's too early to test, I'm just terribly impatient.)  If it is Implantation spotting then I should have a BFP when I test again in a few days I guess.

However, my temperature dropped recently.  It wasn't a huge spike downward though, kind of a gradual trend downward.  If my temp drops does that almost certainly mean I'm NOT pregnant.

Well it could for sure be implantation but if it is, yes you should see a BFP within 3 or so days and your temp should be back up......I have had spotting at 7 DPO before which was implantation with DS #2 . I have also had bouts of spotting mid cycle while TTC#3 for no rhyme or reason that I could tell you of......

Thanks for the input, you're very helpful!

The spotting is now brownish.  Not sure what that means.

I will continue to check temps and maybe try another brand of HPT - just in case.

Turned out to be AF after all, a very early AF.

Oh well, next month.

Bummer! On the bright side, AF is better then no AF or O at all - better luck next month to us both :)
