TTC and Breastfeeding

This is going to sound so silly, but I truly am clueless:

I was using the OPK and had a + wed/thurs this week... thurs/fri, I had a slight pink tinge on my first wipe in the morning.   I have heard of ovulation bleeding (well, spotting b/c it was only 1 wipe for those 2 days and SOO faint)...  could that be what it was???   I have never, to my knowledge, had this-- or maybe I just haven't paid any attention  :o(       so if it is a sign of ovulation, is it a good thing or a bad thing-- or a no-thing???  

Another silly question:  are there *better* days to have sex than others, leading up to/including ovulation day...   i read somewhere that too much sex can cause a pooling of sperm or something-- but my ob said go at it like jackrabbits, so i'm conflicted...  decided this month to take the jackrabbit approach and hope for the best-- if not, maybe we'll try another method next month  :o)

I was reading yesterday, I think in a post in here that the day before ovulation is the highest chance of achieving fertilization.   If you look through the old posts in the Mommy Talk folder there is a helpful folder for newbies.  I think like jack rabbits is fine as long as your dh has a normal sperm count.  People with low sperm counts, I have heard and I'm no expert, to go every other day.  That lets the numbers accumulate.  I think for normal people that you can bd as much as you want as long as it is at least every other day until you have confirmed that ovulation is past.  Like 4 temps that are in the ovulation level(there is a chance to fertilize the day or two after ovulation even though small so make sure you covered your bases). I check cervical position and if it's returned to low and closed then I'm done for the cycle.

I've never heard of the pooling thing.  I, personally, wouldn't worry about it.  

No idea about the pink staining, sorry.

I know this is late, but...the pink tinge/ovulation spotting is supposed to be a very good/high fertility sign.
My ovusoft program says that 4or 5 days prior to ovulation is a low chance of conception, 2-3 days before is good chance, the day before and day of ovulation are the best chances. But, I think that's all very individual also, so I take that with a grain of salt.
