right.... after a day of feeling really pretty crap :(

iv decided its time to start introducing foods. i feel im so close to O'ing and im just hoping that by introducing some food during the day & completely night weaning is going to do the trick.

milk supply gets really low on an evening now and DD makes a big fuss hurting my poor BB's so im hoping shes going to enjoy some new tasty vegetables.

DD is 25 weeks this thursday so think iv done pretty well EBF this long.

not looking forward to the disturbed sleep tho as she is likely to wake up at some point looking for food. wish me luck! :)

You've done awesome ebfing this long. Way to go Mama!

I doubt you have to give up the 10 pm feeding to get o-ing. I don't know that there's much difference between going from 9 hours to 12 hours -other than a disrupted night :( . Just adding solids made a huge difference for me. I got my ppaf 2 weeks after without changing or dropping any feedings. I think, just because she got a bit less milk.
I had 2 annovulatory cycles, and then o'd this last one, and now again. I know how frustrating it is when you have an annovulatory cycle. You're thinking you're in the game, and then, you're not even allowed to play. I have read that it's more common to have annovulatory cycles when you get ppaf back earlier. I think you're going to o this cycle, though. Looking at your chart, it looks like your af was heavier this time, and I think adding in solids will push you over the edge. Are you taking vitex or red raspberry leaf?

Hang in there, sister, it's gonna happen for you! You are awesome for taking such good care of your dd, even though it's basically in direct conflict with what you want so much.

Hugs,

Sunday

aw thanks Sunday your post made me smile :) after feeling so rubbish today.

i let DD suck on some pineapple last week and she couldnt get enough of it so im hoping shes going to take to the food really well. me and DH are both big eaters aswell. im blending my purees as we speak!

how unfair are anovulatory cycles anyway. bleeding & everything but no O! so annoying. my AF was definately a bit heavier this time.

im taking red raspberry leaf tea but more becuase i like it than tho help me O.

I had to BF DD, nothing else was an option for my mental health. & il prob be the same with my next and back here again next year! lol

i know DD is only 6 months, we tried so long & desperately to be pregnant and have her & i just love it, its wonderful and i cant wait to do it all over again :)

PUSH ME OVER THE EDGE BABY! ;)

my son took to solids so well, so quickly and so early!!! i've heard that children that are breastfed are easier to introduce foods to because breastmilk changes taste on a regular basis (vs formula fed where the taste is the same-- making for pickier eaters)... the fact that your daughter has shown interest in your food says she'll probably be just fine (and more than likely quite happy!!) with foods...

good luck with the feedings and with the O...

karen lynn
ps-- my cycle returned around 5 mos. too and it was a couple of months before i actually o-ed, but i did conceive within 4 mos and my son was only sleeping 7-8 hours a night...
