TTC and Breastfeeding

I was all worried about it earlier this week, thinking that the one day of ewcm was all I'd get this month, when in reality yesterday and today I've had the most I've seen in a while! Good thing weds night I started to feel gross and achey and feverish. Doctor's appointment today confermed it, DH and I both have the swine flu. I feel like crap. No chance of trying with all the meds we're on now! Such is my luck! Maybe next month. lol. The best thing though, is that DD has been vaccinated for h1n1, and is running around at full speed. Exhausting! lol. Thank God for my MIL who's going to babysit tomorrow so we can sleep! Hope the baby doesn't show any signs of it.

 

Oh that stinks. I hope you feel better soon! The good news is that you will be immune to h1n1 when you do get pregnant. Your dd should be absolutely fine. The chance of her getting it after getting the vaccine is slim to none. When people get the flu after having a flu shot, it's because they can't put all the possible flus into the vaccination- they do a best guess, and sometimes a flu goes around that wasn't in the guess. In the case of h1n1, what was in the vaccine was the thing you are now exposing her to. Drink lots of water and get lots of rest.
