I posted on here last week. I had the methotrexate last Monday and on Friday my doctor told me I had to have surgery immediately, that the methotrexate was not working. The outcome up the surgery was that they had to remove my ovary. The doctor said I 'looked fine' and that this was just all bad luck.
I am frustrated, angry and terrified. I never thought I wanted kids so badly until this all happened. The doc said my other tube and ovary look fine and I should still be able to have kids... that's what he "says" I am still petrified!!!
I just want this all over with!

I'm so sorry that you ended up having surgery.  How are you feeling today?

I'm so sorry you ended up with surgery, on top of the mtx shot.  Are you starting to feel any better?  Are you sure you lost the ovary on the affected side, or just the tube?  Usually it's just the tube that is affected.  Anyway, I'm sorry for everything you're going thru.  There are plenty of gals here who've lost a tube and have gone on to become pregnant.  Sometimes it takes longer...sometimes not.  Try not to worry about that, at this point anyway.  One thing that can reassure you is that your body can and will compensate for the loss of tube and/or ovary.

I am starting to feel better physically but at times I just can not stop crying. I feel so violated. I feel like someone just took something so precious from me. I wonder if I am going to have to be on hormone replacement therapy and am so angered! I hate taking medications. I have also been healthy and kept in good shape. This shouldn't be happening and why did mine that to be so out of the normal cases!!!!!

{{{HUGS}}} The way you are feeling is entirely normal...not that that makes it any easier, but you're not alone in what you're experiencing.  Losing a baby, even one this small, is still a loss.  Give yourself time to grieve and recover from your loss.  Take things one step at a time.  Right now your emotions are extremely raw.  Time will give you healing.

I wouldn't think you'd need hormone replacement therapy, since you have a functioning ovary still.  Your doctor can tell you more.  When do you have your post-surgical appointment?  It sounds to me like your doctor has left you with a lot of unanswered questions.  I'd suggest that you write them down so you don't forget to ask anything when you're at the appointment.
