Hi all,
Ive been lurking for a while, as we have been ttc since august. I was looking for a little feedback, and since no one irl really knows we are ttc, I figured I'd come here. I was expecting af on oct 17-19, took a pg test that was negative on the 21st, was a complete B!#ch for about 2 weeks, but mostly making me wonder is the fact that i have been having twinges in my lower abdomen, pretty continuously. Had what felt like a soft cramp or two a few days ago, but nothing like my regular pms. i also feel like im 'holding it in', if that makes sense. (usually for pms I feel like its all falling out, or going to). like it feels tighter around where i imagine my cervix would be. my breasts arent sore, and im not sick to my stomach, so I just dont know what to think. thank you for any help, im not sure when i should test again, or make a drs appt, or just wait and see. thank you!

Hi there! I don't know how much help I can be, as we're just on our 2nd month of TTC, but I'll pass along what I've read and maybe that'll help you. I can say for sure that I'd test again if I were you, and test every day or two until AF shows. What I've read that I'll just pass along is that if you make it to 60 days and have neither a + HPT or AF, call your doctor. Hopefully by now you've gotten a BFP, and don't have to wonder anymore!

I'm 31 (almost 32) and we are TTC our first!  Had spotting (brown, and not not much) and cramping for like 10 days now - 4 days til AF due - took a HPT today and got a very positive - i think this is a good sign - will test again in a couple of days but beside myself with joy! Had to share - will keep you posted!

I have been experience a weird 'full' feeling and like a tugging feeling in my lower abdomen and maybe this is why! :)

I can only share my experience from last month, my first month TTC.  I was certain I was pregnant.  Had "tugging", "twinging" and any other symptom you can imagine.  But alas, I eventually got my period and several negative preg tests.  I really think you should test again.  We drive ourselves crazy over analyzing our bodies just hoping to be pregnant.  The fact is, most of the early pregnancy symptoms are also PMS symptoms.  Also, if you just came off the BCP your body will take a few cycles to regulate.  I had a 32 day cycle last month instead of my regular 28 day cycle.
