Hey! My name is Ashlee. I'm 22 and have been TTC for almost 2 years now. That may seem like a long time but..we started in Feb of 08, hubby deployed in Oct of 08. He just got back mid-sept so we are starting to try again. We had to take a month off because I had to have surgery. Then he is leaving for training in Jan-June but i will be able to see him a couple times. Anywho. I just feel like because we are both young (hubby is 25) that it should be easy for us to concieve. But its not. Also being an army wife means I am surrounded by babies, and pregos constantly. It really hurts a lot because it happend for most of them very easily. The guys haven't even been back 2 months, and there are already a few babies on the way. Anyways I can't wait to get to know you guys and I know I will find that support here I so desperatly need!

Hi Ashlee! Welcome aboard! You've come to the right place...the women here are extremely supportive and knowledgeable, and nothing is TMI. I hope you find a great home here, but that your stay is short and sweet. :o)

I understand your frustrations with your DH's schedule...my DH is in the Navy so it can get difficult. Like you, I am surrounded my preggos everywhere in our neighborhood, many already pushing little ones in strollers! About 2 weeks ago, somebody at the dog park (who is 3 months along) mentioned that there "must be something in the water" because everyone in the area is getting pg. I've been drinking the same water for over a year! lol Where are you stationed?

We are in Hawaii right now. Which may sound nice...its really not. haha. So far away from family which really sucks for me because im so close to my mom. When I first moved here I made 2 friends. The hubby and i started to TTC, and 2 months later one girl got pg by accident. Then other got pg a week later. Then i made 2 more friends 1 was already pg, and the other moved away but got pg about a month later. So pretty much everyone I know got pg when i wanted to, but I didn't. So this month has been full of 1 yr old birthday parties which hurts because thats how old my baby would be if i got pg when we first started trying. ugh. They said the water thing for here too. So i started drinking tons of water..u know I will take any edge i can get! haha. Where are you guys stationed?

Just wanted to pop in and say WELCOME!  :)  This is a great place to vent when you're frustrated, share concerns, ask questions, and lean on others when you're feeling overwhelmed and need support.

Looking forward to getting to know you!  Baby dust to you!!!

We're stationed in Hawaii, too! And you share my sentiment exactly...I could have written what you did about living here. Are you guys on Oahu? DH is stationed at Pearl Harbor. What a small world. :o) And obviously we're drinking the same water so it's definitely not that!
