Hey, I just got notice via email that I'm going to be a CL for this board now. I don't know if we'll have more than one, but we should find that out soon enough.
As I'm sure most of you know, my name is Holly and my 18-month-old daughter's name is Elizabeth. I've been a member of this board since E was born, and I know lots of you from TTCYFC and PATTC as well. I hope to get to know all of you better!
A little more about me: I'm working on my MA in history, and right now I'm in the UK with DH and E doing research on the Protestant Reformation in the mid-Tudor period. At this very moment I'm enjoying a train ride from Edinburgh to London, and seeing the beautiful Yorkshire countryside as I write. Woohoo for train wifi! I spent a couple of days in Edinburgh as a break from research, and I go back to doing research tomorrow.
Other things about me: For work, I am a TA for a couple of world history sections as part of my MA program. On the side, I am a coach for my university's debate team and I coach a high school debate team as well. I was a Girl Scout leader for nine years, having lived here in San Diego, California for the same time, and am phasing out my GS volunteer positions as I prepare to move back near family in Utah next summer. For hobbies, I like to read both fiction and non-fiction and I like to do crafts, scrapbooking in particular.
My wifi access is a little spotty until I get home on Sunday, but I promise to check in as much as possible.
