I have so many questions. I do not understand all of the words in the messages that I have read. Like ttr. My husband does not have any kids and I have three. I had my tubal 5 years ago. How much does a tubal cost are there any hidden fees? How long does it take to schedule and get pregnant. I am now 34 and my husband is 43 and wanted to have one in the next year. I live near Rochester NY is there any one in this area who has gone through this who their Dr. was which hospital did they go to. What would you have done differently.
I too am trying to get pregnant after a tubal reversal and plan on going to San Dimas. I am 31 and want to have another child with my husband, who has no kids with me; I have 3 of my own also.
Why San dimas and where are you form? I am planning locally but I am trying to find out all I can. My husband will have the test results next week on his sperm count. That is the actual deciding factor If I am going to try and have the surgery. I am not sure how I am going to pay for the TR either. Thanks for the post. When are you having your surgery? Donna
hello, my name is Judy, i remmaried last year ( i have 3 kids of my own) and had my tubal reversal done last september( after having them tied 6 years ago.) i live in colorado, the drs. here wanted over 10 grand for the surgery and had over a 10 month waiting list. i did some research on my own and decided to go with dr.chun out of the san dimas surgical center. first, he has a high success rate, then they scheduled me for the free phone consult to talk the the dr and ask all the questions i wanted, then scheduled the surgery immiadittly with no waiting. we got a loan through a finance company that specializes in medical loans- no way we had cash for it. the surgery went really well. i had a nurse come to my room and stay the night with me, she was so awesome. that was the only extra $$ involved, other wise it is 5,500.00. before you have the surgery you must have lab work done to make sure you are not anemic or anything, you just do that at your local lab, the clinic will fax them the papers. then they will fax a prescription to your local pharmacy of choice, so you can pick up your meds before the surgery- just antiobotics and pain killers. i had the surgery 1 month after i talked with the dr. it all went really smooth and really well. we are on our 4th. month of trying. if i can answer any other quistions i would be happy to!
Thank you very helpful. I talked to the first doctor today briefly. They want 10,000 and 275 for a consultation. Is there not a Dr. like the one in San dimas here in Rochester NY. My husband and I just got married aug 4 last year. That 10,000 is just a little less than I spent on my whole wedding. This is starting to be depressing. I work full time and go to school full time working on my bachelors degree I am very tired all ready.
