Tubal Reversal

  I am officially scheduled for VR with Dr. Levin on April 16th.  I feel like this was the only choice for me.   My mom and I are going.   I've never been East before so I am excited for that. 

  I was going to go to Dr. Chun but have changed my mind.  Something just didn't feel right and I thought I'd better go somewhere else.  I couldn't find any information on him nor the surgery center on the net (other than their website!)  I liked Dr. Levin's site because it showed pictures of the hospital and I got to hear Levin talking to other women on what to expect on surgery day.  I've talked Dr. L and he was straight forward.  He couldn't promise me anything because op notes were useless.  But I think I have a good chance.

That is wonderful!  I know 4 other women who will be there too.  They are on Dr. L's message board.   I'm arriving on the 15th to see a few of the sites.  I want to see the Heart of Louisville and go to 4th Street Live.  Plus go to the Hard Rock as I've never been.

   It would be awesome if we could all meet.  You and I could hobble into the lobby and meet the others.  Tell them what happened for us.  I'm Heather by the way.  I had my TL back in 9/99 after my little guy was born.  My hubby and I couldn't afford anymore kids and I couldn't take birth control.  I'm so excited to finally take back control.  We used to be like rabbits, hopefully that is still true! =D

I had my TL in Jan 2000 after my daughter, I said..... I did not want it done and by peer pressure it happened (i was young) I really hated the whole idea. Where do I do to Dr. L's  discussion board????

I would love to meet everyone, I am so amazed at how many women are getting reversals, I have waited so, so long!

Here is the link.  If it doesn't work just go to his website and click on Current Supporters.  A lot of women who have had TRs get on and offer lots of advice.  All the way from TRs, to TTC.   Check out all the extra links on the board, the tell you what the acronyms mean, what to pack for surgery, and what drugs not to take.  The support is wonderful.  They bring up stuff I wouldn't have thought to ask.

Have you gotten your orders yet?  I am still waiting and hoping that none of my prescription meds are on the list not to take. 

My hubby and I have two  boys, 11 and 8.  I can't wait to have another little one, I've always wanted to have two kids and then have two more 10 years later.  I just hope it doesn't take too long.  My DH was talking about retirement and I reminded him he will be 54 by the time the little one is 20.  Kind of put a little damper on his excitement.  But since this was all his idea, he'll get over it.  =D

Where are you from?  As I said I'm from Wyoming and fortunately have a only a four hour trip back home.  It could have been an 8 hour!
