H1N1 Flumist Antibodies

Anyone know how much antibodies would be 2 weeks after one dose of h1n1 flu-mist in a child & toddler?

And do you get the same protection mist vs shot in kids & adult?

Just asking as my children have gotten sick. The nurse did a strep test that was neg

One woke up sore throt fever,aches

the other has had croup,and snot and fever.

The dr said it was pointless to run a flu test as they are mostly false....

I am so clueless about all this

I don't think anyone can answer this question accurately.

From what I've read, the attenuated live virus vaccine (the mist) is more effective at generating an immune response than the shot is and some studies have suggested that the immunity lasts longer.

This statement is false.  When the flu test is positive, it's virtually 100% right.  When a flu test is negative, it's about 80% accurate.  It's a shame that your doc doesn't use the flu test appropriately.
