Vasectomy/Tubal Reversal Journey

Hello everyone. I just found this board today! DH and I have been talking about a TR for a while now, today at my GYN appointment, I talked with my GYN about getting it done. We just moved here, so my GYN doesn't have my previous records yet, so I filled out all the necessary release forms and hopefully they'll get them soon. :)

While she waits for the op report from my tubal in 2007, she went ahead and ordered an ultrasound and a bunch of lab work. Dh is scheduling is semen anaylsis, so hopefully I'll be having the TR soon. Unfortunately, we won't be TTC for a while, but that just gives me plenty of healing time. :)

I look forward to reading everyone else's story and joining everyone on their journeys. :)

Good luck with the records and getting the TR scheduled. It will all happen soon enough!!

Thanks for the welcome. I'm excited about getting the reversal. We won't be able to start TTC until 2011 because DH has a deployment coming up, but we figured getting it done while he is gone will ensure I get to heal really well after the surgery. :)

I went to Dr. Berger in North Carolina.  I would make sure your local doctor has a lot of experience in reversals.  Be sure to start taking vitamin E daily 2 days after surgery to prevent scarring.  You might want to check out Dr. Bergers message board it's pretty good.
