I didn't get my vbac. But baby's here!
I really am totally 100% okay with the c-section this time. I really felt like I was leading the decision. Over the last 2 weeks, the baby had been failing NSTs, and we weren't really sure why. One of the fears is aging placenta (I had high BP issues) and so we decided to induce. The induction didn't work, and they gave us a day to figure it all out. When all's said and done, we wanted a healthy baby and healthy momma, so at noon on September 26th, we went into the OR. At 12:53, Dante Antonio came screaming into the world at 6 lb 11 oz. Recovery's been really smooth, and the big kids and husband have been really helpful.
I, of course, wish I got my vbac, but I definitely don't feel like anything was stolen from me or that we really suffered. Of course, snuggling a cutie pie helps that too.
I hope all of the rest of you have wonderful rest-of-pregnancies and I can live through your vbac experiences!!
