Q&A: Can You Eat Too Much Broccoli?

My first thought was YES, it's possible to overdo just about anything, even plain old water. Cruciferous veggies like broccoli can lead to gassiness for some folks (phew!) and since it's got lots of fiber, it can affect the digestive tract (good or bad depending on the person's situation).
We usually just steam broccoli gently if we're having it by itself and just toss it in to steam as it goes when we put it into stir fry. Don't use it raw so much anymore. We do put the big stem parts into the pot when we make soup stock.
