I can't believe Halloween is this Saturday. We carved pumpkins (invited to a friend's house) the first weekend in October. Of course those pumpkins were totally rotten about 2 weeks ago and have already been thrown out - told my friend that this is what would happen. At the time, I actually picked up 2 extra pumpkins so that we can carve them closer to Halloween. And they are still sitting uncarved on the front porch. Not sure when we'll fit carving them in....maybe Saturday morning.
It just seems like I have so much going on every day. And of course Ben is busy Tues/Wed/Thurs and Saturday morning with sports. DH didn't get home from work tonight until almost 9pm, and tomorrow he'll be out late for his soccer game, and Thursday late again for his Basketball game.
Just having one of those moments where I know life is moving way too fast for us to catch up. Still have to have the boys try on their costumes. Ben is wearing one from last year that he loved and it was a bit big last year, so it should still fit him. I really have no idea what Carson will be wearing...just hoping there is something in the box from Ben's previous Halloweens that might fit him.
