Work at Home Moms

The weekend is here!  Claire has her first absence and had to leave school early yesterday for not feeling well.  At least one girl in her class has confirmed H1N1 so they're not taking any chances keeping kids who are possibly sick around.  She has a cough and runny nose, a bit of a stomachache but not bad.  I'll be watching her this weekend to be sure things don't progress.

Yeah...me too!  The flu has hit us all except DH.  Riley is home today too.  He had a feer this morning and his legs ached.  I stayed home from work yesterday with the fever too...but I do feel a little better today.  I think I'm going to bomb this house with disinfectant this weekend.  I bought some Oust and have already used some.  We are suppose to have a 60-65 degree weekend, so I'm going to open the windows too!!

I got Dylan in for the H1N1 vaccine though our city's health department.  He falls in the 6 month - 4 year old range.  He goes Monday.  Riley won't get it until they have clinics at the schools, he doesn't have any underlying health issues.  I still need my seasonal shot...waiting on those too....

Hope Claire feels better soon!!!!

I'm confused, why would Dylan get the vaccine if he's recovering from H1N1??  What did I miss?

Sorry you and Riley are under the weather too. :(  Feel better and gets lots of rest this weekend, as much as you can under the circumstances!

I have five days off in a row right now and it couldn't have come at a better time.  I have been so busy and my house is falling apart and needs a serious overhaul before we get anymore snow. 

My DD Alyssa (8) gets her H1N1 vaccination on Tuesday...all the kids kindergarted to 6th grade.  DS Nic (13), DH and I have to wait until November 28th.  I still haven't decided whether or not I want it for myself.  I'm going to talk to my Dr about it when I see her on Tuesday, but I'm certain I want the kids to have it.
