Some people naturally are able to lose the weight. Doesn't always have anything to do with exercise or nanies or what have you.
I had my son in Dec.'06. I am underweight. I gained 36 lb. When I didn't gain any for three weeks, I was worried, and my doctor was like honey, you gained plenty. Turns out, my body knew what it was doing and it gained 17 lb. in the first trimester alone.
When I left the hospital I had already lost 22 lb. Two months later I had lost it all. When I tried to diet, I stopped losing weight. When I ate better, I lost it all.
But each woman is different. That being said, there are some women that can't lose all the weight until they're done BFing. Or until they recover from a section. Some will never be able to fully lose their belly because their stomach muscles were so stretched out. My stomach muscles separated and have still not gone back together.
Hollywood moms do seem to have it all, but let's not forget, if we had to go out on a red carpet, we'd be wearing five pairs of Spanx which many star moms have admitted to.
Besides you can lose all the weight and it doesn't mean you look good. (My body lost it's boobs, gained some thigh and lost a butt. Not a pretty sight)
I guess I'm trying to say, just because they look all right, we don't know how they really lost their weight.
But it does make people feel inferior to see certain Hollywood moms. Goodness knows, two weeks after I'd had my son, I hated the way I looked. My stomach was flat but flabby flabby flabby. I'm ashamed to say, when Halle Berry didn't lose her weight right away, I applauded her. Not because she hadn't lost it, but because she was losing it in a healthy way if that makes sense. It's high time we stop judging ourselves based on what others do.
Each person is different.
