Each Sunday I will post a new simple Swap. These are things you can do to help with weightloss without completely changing your life.

This week is:

Swap Soda for Water. for every can of pop you replace with a glass of water you save your self on average 150 calories, 41 carbs and 41 grams of sugar. If you add up the calories that is 1050 a week or a little over 1 pound lost each month.

Swap White for Wheat-  Although switching from white to wheat won't save you a bunch of calories it will add great things like fiber and take out some of the carbs and sugars that are in processed white foods. You can start off simple with pasta and bread and work your way to completely doing away with white flour.

Swap sitting for moving - We all complain that there just isn't enough time in the day to squeeze in a good workout, but we always have time for our favorite show. So next time you are sitting on the couch watching tv make it a point to move. You can march in place and jog in place during commercials (burning up to 300 calories an hour). Rotate squats and crunches during commercials or do jumping jacks. It is easy to work out while watching tv.

Thank you. I cant take all the credit tho, the idea came from the biggest loser simple swaps book. I thought it was a good book but a little extreme for what most of us are aiming for. Hopefully it helps someone with their weightloss.
