Hey let me know if you are here. How are you doing with weight loss or maintaining? What are your plans this month? What is your favorite tip for keeping eating under control for the holidays?

Amy here. Mommy to James and Cole. After finishing off a very busy October we are starting off a new month just as busy. We have to finish the remodling on the house. I have to get it in order for company for Christmas, we have 2 different Thanksgiving dinners and of course all of the every day things that will keep me running.

My favorite tip for keeping things under control during the holidays is a veggie tray. If you are hosting dinner make sure you have veggies to snack on while cooking. If you are going to some ones house offer to bring a tray of veggies. That way you know you have something to snack on while waiting on dinner to be served.

Hi, I'm here, hanging in there. We don't have a whole lot planned this month, besides the usual weekly business. Taking care of my MIL twice a week and hanging out with my mom on Tuesday afternoons. Then there will be Thanksgiving dinner.

I will get to take my 14 year old son to the zoo on Saturday with Journey. :D

I really have never tried to keep anything in control during the holidays, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Starting with the TONS of leftover Halloween candy!!!

I forgot about birthdays this month too. I have a few. I am pretty sure that every single weekend from now until New years is booked. I hate being this busy.

As for Halloween candy I didn't get very much and left it in the car so I would only have it there. You could always send t to work with dh.

Hello, i'm back again.  Jo Lynn here mommy to Tristen(2) and my early bird Phoenix born at 29 weeks.  I'm only 3 weeks out of giving birth but am working on eating better.  I'm still in the "i'm pregnant and can eat anything" stage.  With the holidays comming its a crummy time to work on eating better but I will try.  My tip/advice to get through the holidays is to take small portions.  Portion control is the key, you can have that slice of pie just make it a small one. :)
